We came for a night with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and it was a great experience! Not your typical β€œgarden” but lots of trails, pieces of art, and history to be seen here

It was so beautiful on a nice summer day. So many wildflowers and butterflies. We saw birds and a buck and a doe. 3 trolls are located here. A nice play area for kids. Beautiful walking trails. My grandchildren are already asking to return.

I absolutely loved it. Easy walking trails and beautiful scenery

Very well maintained walking paths with a lot to see. The paths are wide with benches along the way to rest and look at the lake. Fun troll sculptures made by local high school kids.

Beautiful fall trails along Lake Springfield. Quiet Sunday trail hike to encounter nature and serenity. Lots of places to stop along the trail to rest thanks to donated memorial benches. 3 Thomas Dambo inspired troll art installations add some whimsy to the experience. If you’re willing to drive a little off the interstate for a break from the road, it’s great place to stretch your legs and would have been perfect for a picnic!
